Ok, now I understand that point of being a vegan or vegetarian. I don't necessarily agree wholeheartedly to it, but I do understand it. (There is no judging here). But they were at a free seminar about digestion and wellness. I've been speaking a while, and I'm quite familiar with my topics, and I don't believe I mention at all anywhere that eating meat or cooked food is superior (or inferior) to any other method of eating We look at how important it is to get the most nutrients from the foods we put in our bodies and how an inefficient running digestive tract can completely derail even the "healthiest" of diets. In fact, I don't even mention specific foods, much less talk about why you shouldn't eat food raw or should eat cooked meats. I talk about proteins, carbs, fats.... macro nutrients and how bodies absorb them. Then I discuss how using a thermometer can be the single greatest tool you can use to tell you how healthy you are.
If your body doesn't accept and utilize the food you are eating (regardless of the "style") then it just doesn't accept them. Digestion and gut health does not know whether you are a vegan, meat eater, paleo, raw food junkie, vegetarian, or fast food connoisseur. It only knows whether it likes the food or it doesn't. Simple. So does your digestion system like the foods you eat?
